If you are looking for adventure and relaxing at the same time, then head to Tulum for the day!

Another thing to do to enjoy your honeymoon in Playa del Carmen is visiting one of the nature theme parks. If you’re an active and extreme person, you´ll love all the Xcaret parks like Xcaret, Xel-ha, Xavage, Xoximilco, Xenses, or Xplor. You can snorkel, cave dive, zip line, etc.

Akumal is another fantastic place to snorkel because it´s beautiful beaches!. You can spend the day here snorkeling next to gigantic turtles!

Isla Mujeres is also a great idea for a one day tour! This beautiful Caribbean island has the most fantastic beaches and water perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. You can drive the whole island in a golf cart! There are a few different beaches, but Playa Norte is by far the most popular, it’s considered one of the most beautiful beaches in all of Mexico!

There are many reasons you’ll love Playa del Carmen, and it´s only 45 minutes from Cancun airport!

And remember, the best time to visit Playa del Carmen is April and May when the weather is mostly warm and dry. Rain can start in June, and be sure to avoid the crazy crowds during Easter Week.
