Quintana Roo cares about the comfort and quality of life of both its residents and tourists. That is why Playa del Carmen and Cancun have implemented in their beaches a more inclusive model for all those who suffer from a disability. You must know that only 2 of 32 states in Mexico have inclusive beaches, they are Quintana Roo in Cancun and Playa del Carmen and the state of Jalisco in Cuastecomates. Having this system not only means a greater economic spill and a greater number of tourists. This speaks well of the country and the interest it has for the people, so Mexico should bet for this type of project with greater force.


It is located in Playa Caribe. Inaugurated in 2013 in Playa del Carmen, Fundadores Park that is 5 minutes from 5th Avenue and Punta Esmeralda beach also located in Playa del Carmen in the Nicte-Ha neighborhood.


In Cancun, the inclusive beaches you will find are Playa Langosta, Las Perlas, Chaacmool and Playa Delfines. Located all in Hotel Zone.

They have ramps for wheelchairs, there are trained personnel to help and ensure safety within the beach, showers enabled, signs and also one of its most important services are amphibious chairs.


Amphibious chairs are special seats that are enabled thanks to special wheels that serve to pass through the sand and float on water. Giving a world of possibilities because everyone deserves to enjoy the beach.
